AIM COURSE - THERMAL FATIGUE - INCREASING THE DIE LIFE

The Diecasting Technical Committee of the Italian Metallurgy Association is proposing a course this year in webinar mode, which deals with the phenomenon of Thermal Fatigue. This phenomenon occurs in diecasting molds and can lead to localized failures on the surface of the molds, limiting their duration. The duration of the mold is of fundamental importance for the profitability of the foundry and is influenced by many factors. MOTULtech Baraldi has been a member of the Diecasting Technical Committee from the beginning of its activity and will contribute to this Course with a lesson entitled "The lubrication of the mold as the last tool for the management of surface temperatures and the analysis of its effect through monitoring" on process "of temperatures".
